Hydro DocsProject GuideDeployment process

Deployments

Tests are required to ensure the security and feasibility of liquidity deployments.

The Hydro team will conduct deployment tests in the final 7 days of each auction round. This ensures any technical or operational issues can be identified and addressed before the round concludes.

Bidders actively participate in the deployment testing process by:

  • Providing technical support to assist the Hydro team and committee.
  • Sharing queries, configurations, and troubleshooting details upon request.
  • Ensuring availability to address any issues identified during testing.

Any issues identified during deployment tests must be resolved within 7 days of the round’s conclusion. If delays occur due to unresolved bidder-side issues, it may result in forfeiture of the deployment.

In some cases, the Hydro committee may be able to extend liquidity deployment for up to 30 days post-resolution, but extensions are contingent on the availability of sufficient capital reserves and are not guaranteed in future rounds.

Queries

Bidders must submit deployment queries and transaction details as part of their bid submission to ensure that the Hydro team and committee can accurately monitor deployed funds.

  1. An LCD query to check the current holdings of the Hydro account in the deployment venue.
  2. A query to check the total TVL in the venue.
  3. Output must include the principal asset(s) amounts (for example, in ATOM and stATOM for an ATOM<>stATOM pool).

Transactions

Bidders must also submit transaction details as part of their bid submission to ensure that the Hydro team and committee can execute liquidity deployments efficiently.

An example of the transactions required to deploy liquidity to the bidder’s chosen venue. This information should be provided in markdown format in a publicly accessible HackMD file. The hackMD file will be linked within the bid. A template hackMD file can be found here. Failure to provide these details will likely result in a rejected bid.
